STEP 4
Now create a new layer by pressing ctrl+shift+N/cmd+shift+N. Select linear gradient. Press D to make black as foreground color and white as background color. Now select black to white pattern.
Now press and hold shift and drag the mouse cursor from the bottom of the image to the top of the image.
After doing that change the blending mode of the layer 2 to multiply.
Now we are done with our background.
