Hello guys, I am going to talk about Removing Color Cast in Photoshop. Last time I discussed Adding Instagram’s Sierra Effect in Photoshop which is a recommended tutorial for Instagram lovers. In this tutorial, I am going to use Levels to adjust the color balance.
If you like watching videos, here’s the video for you.
Open your image in Photoshop and go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Levels.
Change the color to Blue and drag the white slider to the left until it meets the white area. This white area depicts the details of the blue color present in the image. As the image in highly, colorcasted so blue color has lost some details. By dragging the white slider to the left we are bringing back the details.
Your image should look like this.
Do the same thing for the green color and you will notice that the image is getting back its original color.
Now do it for red color.
And now you can see that we have removed the colorcast so perfectly.
In fact, you can now compare it.
And we are done here.
Read my next tutorial where I will be discussing Shadow/Highlight Adjustment in Photoshop.
Thank you for reading this article. Hopefully, we’ll meet again in four days.
