STEP 6
Now press ctrl+shift+I/cmd+shift+I to invert the selection. This will select the rest of canvas. Now go to edit>fill or you can simply press shift+F5. Set the color as white and press OK.
You will not see any change in the image but when you check the layer thumbnail of “layer 1” it is filled with white color. Now press ctrl+D/cmd+D to deselect the selection.
