Create YouTube Thumbnail Using Photoshop CS6 | TrickyPhotoshop

Hello guys I am Vaibhav and in this tutorial I am going to show you how to create YouTube thumbnail in Photoshop CS6. Last time I discussed about Creating Mist in Photoshop which is a recommended tutorial for landscape and travel photographers. For this tutorial what I am going to do is to create a new layer and then then I will use some filters to get the perfect result. It’s a pretty simple tutorial. I am going to use Layer Panel, Layer Style, Some Filters etc.

Press ctrl+N/cmd+N to create a new file. I am going to give my dimension as 1600 by 1200 which is much larger as we are going to use it as thumbnail. But I am personally speaking I don’t like low resolution images. That’s why I created 1600×1200 canvas. I am going to give my resolution as 300 dpi. I have written a whole tutorial on Creating a New Document in Photoshop and you should check that out if you are a beginner.
