STEP 2
Open you layer panel (press F7 to open). Create a new layer at the top of the layer panel. You can use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+N/Cmd+Shift+N as your keyboard shortcut. Rename it to “Brush”. With the selection still active go to Layer>Layer Mask>Reveal Selection.
