Now create a new layer by pressing ctrl+shift+N/cmd+shift+N. Drag that layer to just above the ‘’background copy” layer. In the image below ignore the downward arrow is showing just before the layer name. That’s the sign for “clipping mask”. Whether you enabled it or not in this case will not affect the output of your image.
