Hello guys I am Vaibhav and in this tutorial I am going to show you how to create ghostly blurred text with Photoshop CS6. Last time I discussed about Fixing an Underexposed Area in Photoshop Without Disturbing Other Areas in Photoshop which is an extremely tutorial for a photographer. For this tutorial basically what I am going to do is to write a next and then I will add some layer styles to that. After that I will use some filters to achieve the desired look. It’s a simple tutorial and should be completed within minutes.

STEP 1

Create a new document by going to file>new or you can simply press ctrl+N/cmd+N. I have written a whole tutorial on Creating a New Document in Photoshop and you should check that out if you are a beginner.

Now choose your width as 1600 pixel and height as 1200 pixels. Name your photo as TrickyPhotoshop. In the resolution field put 72 pixels per inch. Press OK.
