Hello guys, today I am going to show you how to whiten eyes in Photoshop. This thing can be easily achieved in couple of seconds with Lightroom, but in Photoshop, it may take some time. I am also planning to upload a tutorial on whitening of eyes using Lightroom very soon.
For this tutorial, we are going to use some adjustment layers and brush. This is a time taking tutorial and requires some amount of patience. You have to zoom in a lot at various point of time and manually brush all over the eyes. Let’s begin the tutorial.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find out best image for this tutorial so I had to pick up an image, and I manually made her eyes yellow. I guess that the model and the photographer wouldn’t like this part.
The above image would’ve been more appealing if her eyes were brightly white, and that is what we are going to do now; to make her eyes white.
The first thing you need to do is to press D to make black as your foreground color and white as the background color.
We are going to convert this image to Black and White. There are five options to convert an image to Black and White in Photoshop and I am going to use the best one. Go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Gradient Map.
Make sure that the gradient is black to white.
