STEP 3
Now press D to make black as your foreground color. Now go to edit>fill. Change the use to “black” and press OK. This will fill your layer 1 with black color. There’s one more shortcut for filling your canvas with the foreground color which is alt+backspace/opt+delete. In this case it will fill your layer 1 with black color because black is our foreground color.
